The acquisition of Quays follows some major business wins for Kingdom in the North East (e.g. Elddis Transport and Home Group) and is a further strategic acquisition to strengthen our local and UK position. We welcome on board all new staff and customers into Kingdom who we believe will receive significant benefit from our extensive services, resources, innovation and management expertise. Centralised control and awareness of incidents is essential for any security company and its customers. Our new web based incident report (available via the Kingdom web STAFF ZONE) makes incident reporting even easier for our security personnel. Mandatory completion fields include:- - Customer Name - Site Number - Location / Address - Incident Date / Time Occurred / Time Informed - Reporting Guard - Incident Details - Descriptions - Estimated or Known Damage or Losses / Injuries / Treatment /    Images Taken - Time Police Contacted / Arrived / Left - Crime Number On pressing submit the incident report goes directly into our National Control Centre. The Control Centre then complete mandatory form parts and escalation sections. We smash through the required pacesetter score of 86 with a mighty impressive ACS score of 117! We work extremely hard at Kingdom and each and every work day brings new innovations. This was demonstrated in our 2011 ACS (approved contractor status) audit (completed by the SSAIB 26/6 to 1/7/2011- see below) where we smashed past the required 86 pacesetter score with a huge score of 117! The Approved Contractor Scheme was introduced to form a set of operational and performance standards for companies. The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of our business operations and the annual inspection process lasts 4 days. The standard takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed, how effectively it services its customers, and how well it treats its employees. The Approved Contractor Scheme Pacesetters allows buyers of security services to find "the best of the best" by promoting the top 15% of audited companies. To achieve pacesetter accreditation companies must reach a score +86 (only 117 / 711 companies can currently demonstrate a score . exceeding +86) and the Kingdom score of 117 splits the field further and clearly demonstrates "best in class". In restricting membership of the ACS Pacesetter to the top 15%, a total of only 107 companies are eligible to join. Quite simply, as a client, would you want to select a company to tender for your security contract which was not in the top 15% of the ACS scoring system? It surely has to be the safest route. The SAIB completed the Kingdom audit. The SSAIB is a Certification Body specialising in the security industry. With around 1500 companies of all sizes on their register, they certificate the greatest number of security service providers to ensure high standards of service. Kingdom has again achieved outstanding ISO professional audit results, securing its 11th consecutive zero non-compliance ISO audit The company has also received praise for unique improvement initiatives and for exceeding assessor requirements. Kingdom was subject to a recent annual  ISO9001:2008 quality management system surveillance audit for its provision of security services. The audit focused on numerous quality related areas, as is required, and also included examination of our compliance with the requirements of the British Standards of BS7499 for manned guarding services, BS7958 for key holding and alarm response and BS7858 for screening of personnel employed. ISO surveillance visits are process-quality driven. They complement the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme well by reflecting that our operating standards and practices are up to scratch at every level The audit provides a comprehensive benchmark, enabling us to ensure that that the standards and processes we have in place provide maximum benefit to all of our stakeholders.
